vip dinners

Surprise, surprise ... I never was. So I have no idea what went on in them.
Somebody decides who is a cook and servant at the VIP's lunches, and who deserves to be a PR and sit with them. This generates swollen ego for some of course and lousy feelings for the others.

I know many BKs who gave back their aprons and stopped making themselves available for that game. We can gain our fortune in ways other than being humiliated. I don't even think it depends on how intellectual, well dressed, you are or on social class. The criteria involves the level to which you are subdued.

They probably mistrusted you, as they did with me, as being not 100 % loyal. Or a bit too frank and outspoken, who knows which words may come out from a free mouth!

The ones who don't get to sit with the VIPs are definately the lucky ones.

Do you speak out of experience?

It would be give on interesting to have insight into the Yukti, or bull, that they use to pull their VIPs and mics. (Right ... Rule number One; do not mention 5,000 years, dinosaurs or God Shiva entering into Dadi Gulzar what ever you do or you will be out in the streets with the PBKs and the center front door locked against you!!!)

I suppose they go for businessman-types now? ... for VIP dinners (not hotels).

vip service

Reading the letters of Mama to Gandhiji, etc, we see that interest in serving VIPs is an old thing. The sickening dribbling behind them and the whole scenario where BKs lost dignity, in my opinion, started or had a climbing during Million Minute Peace Appeal program and further, Global Cooperation.

These programs in the West, as far as I see, became an excuse for the Yagya to fly off at a tangent and validated behaviours that otherwise would have been unacceptable. Interesting to note how, before launching and whilst encouraging the Global Cooperation Program in the season Avyakt ('87, is not it?), Baba was preparing and warning in many ways children about the risks and suggesting the correct attitude we should keep when serving/trying to reach big mics, etc. Really many striking points.

But too impressed by money and position of lokiks, I think, many BKs got wrongly intoxicated and forgot that our main role was that of being Yogis. The rest should follow easily as a shadow, without any strain, or need to "chase after", or adopt lokik parameters.

That's when I started feeling dizzy and the whole thing tasted foul to me.

Maureen Goodman at the Albert Hall, I think it was, chasing after Bob Geldof post-Live Aid trying to thrust a leaflet/letter/invitation into his hands whilst telling he could be an angel too ... Sir Bob was running!

Do you remember the endless speculation within the BKWSU over which VIP "... MIGHT BE A BRAHMIN"? And all the efort to reach them

Prince Charles ... Princess Di ... the actor that played Gandhi ... oh, I cant remember them all. Was it the same all over the world? It seemed to run contrary to Gyan. Surely a rich, successful VIP would be a new soul experiencing their Golden Age, so why bother with them and why owuld htey be interested in Gyan?

But tell me more about what you thought of the Million Minutes and VIP, how and where did it start? Wasn't that Mike George and Nikki de Carteret number?
