5000yr achilles heel: India , China, elsewhere

Post by bansy »

I would like to point out two timelines for India and China :
Timeline India : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Indian_history
Timeline China : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_o ... se_history

Also worth browsing :
History of India : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_India
History of China : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_China

As in most histories, there is a "prehistoric period" that precedes about 3000BC, i.e. "guesswork" in BK terms and so guesswork for archeologists.

In chinese history show that from about 2800BC to 2200BC, "Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors" period is based on mythology and is thus passed down the ages. The first RECORDED history is Xia dynasty (2100BC).
As such, the entire recorded Chinese history does not fit into the 5000 years cycle as given in BK Gyan.

The Chinese have always been meticulous record keepers.

But there are controversies over the accuracies of historical measurements. To check the accuracies, the Xia Shang Zhou Chronology Project was set up to check these first 3 dynasties in China :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xia_Shang_ ... gy_Project
One of the criticisms is that the project supports the concept of a 5,000-year, unbroken and homogenous history of China, wherein the three ancient dynasties (Xia, Shang and Zhou) were large and powerful states—ignoring that many other groups of people (perhaps equally advanced) existed throughout China and Central Asia during this period.

The key phrase here is that in the latter bold wording. If Golden Age existed in India from 2500BC, as according to BK Gyan, then how about the "Goden Ages" around in China, or the Rest of Central Asia (and also possibly other parts of the world too).
What existed in those places at the same time (were they under water ?) ?
Are the Laskhmi and Narayan dynasties only confined to India, and thus BK Gyan is in essence only confined to the history and geography of India only ?
How can other dynasties exist alongside that in India on the same timeline (or even previous )?

I make no conclusion here , I just dug this up (sorry for the archeological pun - must be a sanskar) about 20 minutes ago ! :D

The achilles heel of the Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Gyan is the wheel drama of 5000 years. The achilles heel is not God or the chariots or cycle or linear time, nor the dieties, the rosaries nor goddesses and demons; as every nation has these Bhakti elements. The only thing that all nations share commonly is the timeline. At least in this dimension.

(If someone has access to brahmakumaris.info forum, I wonder if they could be so kind to link or copy this thread in that forum, thanks.)
