Developing AWARENESS of Divine Virtues through PRACTICAL visualisation!
36. Wisdom, Prudence (विवेकशीलता)
When a
soldier goes to war he has to be equipped with the required weapons of defence and offence.
When a
doctor, or surgeon goes to a hospital he has to be provided with the required medical equipment and medication.
A
doctor will not go to fight in a war with medicines, although he may go there to provide immediate treatment to the casualties of war; and a
soldier will not go to a hospital to treat the patients with weapons, although he may be taken there for treatment if he gets seriously injured during a war.
WISDOM is just like a sudden ‘glow of light’ which spontaneously flashes across one’s intellect,
whenever so required, particularly in an emergency, and at that very instant one immediately realises what needs to be done urgently,
without having to say anything or to consult anyone else!
The professions of both the
soldier and the
doctor are such that they can find themselves in a sudden emergency where they are required to take instantaneous decisions to save life – when
wisdom has to come into play spontaneously!
Similarly, at the end of the Cycle, human souls will find themselves in a sudden emergency where they are required to take instantaneous decisions to save their own selves. At such a time one needs to exercise great
WISDOM to spontaneously ReCognize the corporeal part of the Supreme Soul and take His Divine Advice and Support to be able to go smoothly from the hurdles of the Iron Age to the safety and security of the Golden Age!
