Let us discuss further about how young is earth?
What is radiometric dating?

Post by sparkal »

The question is specific and asks only about the earth.

The available history with proof is only 2500 years. The oldest known civilization Mohenjodaro & Harappa(The city of Mohenjo-Daro (“hill of the dead”) was the largest settlement of a culture that for more than 600 years from 2500 b.c. extended over 600,000 square miles (1.5 million square kilometers) of India and Pakistan).

Darwinian approach is only a theory which has been proved wrong by many.Carbon dating technique is also not found to be effective.

When on one hand the available historical records don't go beyond 2500 years, how can one accept something like millions & billions.Science & scripture, both will accept in the coming years that it is only 5000 years & the cycle will evolve.

Einstein's Theory of Relativity depends on the concept of 'expansion of time' observed due to relative motion or due to the effect of gravity. Consider an observer 'O' observes something 'S' in a frame of reference, in a specific motion, relative to 'O'. Then 'O' will observe that time at 'S' is going slowly compared to the time at 'O'. 'O' can observe the same effect due to gravitical force at 'S'.

Now if time is cyclic of 5,000 years as BKs, PBKs & some ex-BKs consider, then this goes against Einstein's theory. Consider a hypothetical experiment in which the observer 'O' can observe complete time cycle which takes place at his own location & also at the location of 'S'. Then 'O' will measure the period of one time cycle, at his own location, which will be equal to 5,000 years. But he will found that the period of one time cycle is greater than 5,000 years at the location of 'S' due to the effect of relative motion or gravity.

Thus if Einstein's theory is considered to be correct, then the BK concept of '5,000 years of one time cycle' proves to be wrong. if Einstein's theory is considered to be correct, period of one time cycle which takes place at 'S' will depend on motion relative to the observer 'O', or it will depend on gravitical force at 'S'. Thus the period of one time cycle may be different for different frames of reference & not 5,000 years for all frames of references.

But if we consider BK concept of '5,000 years time cycle' as a real fact & if we consider period of one time cycle as 5,000 years for all frames of reference, irrespective of relative motion or gravity, then Einstein's theory of relativity collapses, as, in such case, the period of one time cycle at any frame of reference will not depand on the motion relative to any observer and it will be the same for all frame of references, which goes against the basic postulates Einstein's theory of relativity.

Thus either Einstein's Theory of Relativity or BK concept of '5,000 years time cycle' is correct. Which, both of them, is correct? - That's the matter of your own choice. What do you think? Please reply.

The Theory on relativity has been proved wrong here is the report:

An Indian boy in his 12th standard has disproved Einstein's 'Theory of Relativity'.Shocked? Read on...

Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a sub-atomic particle, which can travel at speed greater than that of light, thereby challenging one of the fundamental postulates of the 'Theory of Relativity'.

In his recent research paper submitted to the Institute of Advanced Physics (IAP) at Trieste ( Italy ), Sudarshan has proved the existence of a class of sub-atomic particles called leptons', which can travel faster than light.
The international physics community is shocked by this discovery.

Dr.Massimo Martelli, President of the IAP has this to say about the paper submitted by Sudarshan. 'After long, careful and critical analysis, I can confidently say that Sudarshan's research papers show tremendous leap in our understanding of physics. His investigation mounts up on 'leptons'... His work builds substantially on the work of Einstein and others in the field of relativity.'

When physicists from Princeton Universitytried to measure Sudarshan's IQ with an IQ-meter (at the American Embassy in Delhi ), the meter broke down.
Sudarshan, incidentally, is the brother ofMadhu Reddy, the Indian whiz kid who developed an operating system superior to Microsoft Windows.

This again proves that Humans however brilliant they may be cannot refute gods words.

I am sorry, this news is not verified,so please excuse me,if it is not correct on The Theory of relativity.

How do you know that this is the oldest civilisation in the world? Please, send evidence of this. Mohenjo Daro and Harappa emerged app 2600 BC (research available), but the civilisation which preceeded it was dated app 6000 BCE.

And please send evidence on which we can say that the history with proofs is of 2500 years. Historians don't confirm this. The available historical records go further then 2500 years ago and they present evidence, at least in historical research. Unless you prove that their research is wrong, on what will you base your statement? How will science and scripture accept something without a clear proof? First prove that the Cycle is of 5000 years. So far neither BKs nor PBKs can prove it. All only repeat the same statement, but don't show any evidence. I myself am among them. I am unable to prove that the Cycle is of 5000 years.

I am facing the same problem.
1. Recently while learning about fossil fuels (oil, coal etc.), the formation of such fules takes millions of years, 5,000 year cycle does not add up.
2. How do we account for dinosaurs - when did they exist if the cycle is for 5,000 years

Advance Knowldge states that dinosaurs lived at the end of the Silver Age and at the begining of the Copper Age; Adv. Kn. doesn't provide any evidence for this.

This email is being widely circulated on websites and chat rooms in India. So far, no organisation has found any evidence of this individual, his brother, or his discovery. No article has appeared in the India Times. There is no Carl Uppsala associated with the Nobel Prizes (he is named in the email). There is not a Dr. Massimo Martelli (also named in the email) who is president of "The International Physics Community." Most of all, there is no such thing as an "IQ meter."

I wonder why some PBK students spread such rumors. What do they want to achieve. I would love the author of the statement "This again proves that Humans however brilliant they may be cannot refute gods words." explain more on what he meant.

One web site here:http://www.genesispark.com/genpark/ancient/ancient.htm has collected examples of artwork depicting dinosaurs from various ancient cultures around the world. Carvings and sculptures were made before the fossilised remaind were dug up and assembled in museums etc. How did those ancient people know what the dinos looked like unless seen with their own eyes? Much of the artwork depicts the dinos in naturalistic form.

http://www.pureinsight.org/node/1899 An interesting site which while doesnt provide total proof for the 5000 year cycle, challenges some hard fast notions of current scientific belief.

buttonslammer, please do not asscribe words which I did not post, to me. I did not ask about dinos. Cal did. Please, make things clear. Thank you.

I did find something interesting where scientist, astronomers & Mayan experts have shared their thoughts.
Even the Mayan calendar says earth goes through transformation every 5125 years, please check this link & read it fully.
As for Anu's comments on the links which are appearing in India, I have made the correction/apologies stating it is not verified, please read fully before posting.
