Thank you / No thank you to the BKWSU
Thank you / No thank you to the BKWSU
Here's a thread to test you all : There are too many BUTs and IFs.
I would like to explain the purpose of this thread is to find out if you can admit any kind words about the BKWSU. Not individual members, but the BKWSU and Gyan as an overall. Can you say, in your heart right now, whether you can simply say a straightforward "Thank you", or is there totally nothing you gained from your experiences. I would say the latter is rather negative because if you are reckon you are a better person now than before (whether still BK or not), then some of that must have resulted in your either good and/or bad times with the BKWSU. A thank you to the BKWSU could mean simply one person you had got to/still know or to a number of people in the past/present, or simply the BKWSU opened your eyes to spirituality, or for whatever reason that has eventually brought you here to this forum.
If you wish to remain silent, then that can almost presume you have a "no thank you" to the BKWSU. But if at anytime in your past you wished to have had a chance to say thank you to the BKWSU but did not do so, well here's your chance.
If you wish to say a "No thank you" then I guess you did really waste your time, regardless whether others made it for you or you did it.
Think of this test as if it was someone on a deathbed, and you only had 2 seconds to whisper something to this person/entity. Well, that someone could just be you and a twister was heading towards your window right now, and what woud you wish to hear ? ?
So it is a conundrum which you cannot really avoid to answer, right ? :D Is there anything to lose ?
I know some of you will find ways of avoiding and explaining your reasons, but all I ask is whether you can type "Thank You or "No Thank You". I hope that won't be too hard.
So I will start in my next post.

Would I have time to spend my two last seconds posting one final exposé on this forum?
"It would not be according to Shrimat to remember them." ;)
I do not mean this negatively, and I wish I could say otherwise, but I cannot see that I have anything to thank them for.

Thanks to ShivBaba for whatever part of life that I spent with BKWSU. I learnt a lot of things from Baba and Baba's children while being with BKWSU. Wah drama wah! :D
Re: Thank you / No thank you to the BKWSU
I don't have anything to thank them for, I thank myself.
Anything I gained during my time with the BKWSU is a result of my own efforts. I owe none of it to them, so not a thank you from me.

- Please give a short description of your interest in joining this forum.: I grew up in the BK family in the UK, my Dad is still an active and senior (ish) member, but I have chosen not to continue life as a BK. I have felt a mixture of shock, empathy and interest while reading through the forums here and hope to be able to learn more and maybe help others by joining, particularly younger BKs/ex-BKs who may have had similar experiences to myself. Thanks.
Re: Thank you / No thank you to the BKWSU
A thank you from me. I had a happy, loving childhood in the BK family.
(I think I was lucky because being a child meant I was subjected to very few of the negative aspects of BKWSU I have read about in these forums).

It sounds to me like Dadi Janki is asking us this question in a class (smile). I surely would like to say thank you but instead would like to say Thank you Drama, Thank you God, Thank you Nature!! Let’s see what happens next!!
Re: Thank you / No thank you to the BKWSU
Not to be outdone, I have raised another parallel thread entitled, "Thank you/No Thank you brahmakumaris.info" :mrgreen:Let’s see what happens next!!
