Re: BK / PBK Theology

OK thank you. Another question - have I got this right - according to BK / PBK, matter and souls are eternal and are not created by God?

Re: BK / PBK Theology

OK to be more precise, the spelling here is confusing. I think that some people try to distinguish these by using 'Brahma' for the deity and 'Brahmin' or 'Brahmana' for the soul of high caste, but sometimes they just all get mixed up. Anyway the 'Brahman' I am asking about is that of the Vedanta phi...

Sorry to digress but can someone please tell me the transliteration of this Sanksrit and is there a difference between 'Paramdham' and 'Parampadham'?

Re: Influences of Besant, Theosophy & Freemasonry on Lekhraj Kir

It would be interesting to compare dates for the activity of the theosophical society in India with that of DL. As early as 1889, Blavatsky had told a group of Theosophical students that the real purpose of establishing the Society was to prepare humanity for the reception of the World Teacher when ...

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

Many will have simply swung from one guru to another one who has promised them more. The Religious marketplace In truth, I think that Shiva Baba is on a par with the so-called "ascended masters" of the West but is just taking its cues from the SIndhi/Hindi community it incarnated into and...

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

But it is said in the Murlis that the truth in the Sanskrit Gita authored in the Copper Age by a human being contains very little truth, just like a pinch of salt in a large quantity of wheat flour used to prepare roties in India. Emanating from this Divine Yagya is the huge conflagration in the fo...

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

As I have already said that the BKs/PBKs believe it to be just a scripture (in which Krishna narrated Gita to Arjun) written in the Copper Age in memory of the events that have taken place in the Confluence Age. Krishna is God for Hindus but for BKs/PBKs he is just another human soul (but a great a...

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

OK sorry for confusion - I am asking about the Bhagavad Gita featuring Arjun, Krishna and the battlefield. Do BKs / PBKs believe that God spoke to Arjun on the battlefield, and if so who is the God that spoke?

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

For BKs/PBKs the basic meaning of Vishnu is the combined form of Lakshmi and Narayan. BKs believe that Dada Lekhraj would become Narayan and Om Radhe would become Sarawati. PBKs believe Baba Veerendra Dev Dixit would get revealed as the Confluence-Aged Narayan while BK Vedanti would get revealed as...

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

As per Hindu belief Shiv (or Shankar) and Vishnu are different. Krishna was the incarnation of Vishnu right from the birth ... Shiv did not enter in him to narrate Gita. Krishna himself narrated Gita. So BK / PBK does believe in the classical Hindu idea of avatar for Vishnu but not for Shiv? For th...

So with the Bhagavad Gita, is Krishna a normal man but then Shiv enters his body on the battlefield to speak?

Re: Avatar (what is it?)

Since it is believed by the BKs and PBKs that the Supreme Soul enters in Dada Lekhraj and Baba Veerendra Dev Dixit respectively and did not take birth as these two personalities, the revelation of Shiv through these personalities cannot be termed incarnation/avatar from a classical Hindu point of v...

Avatar (what is it?)

Dear all,

It was mentioned in another post that in the BK view, Dada Lekhraj 'is certainly not regarded as an avatar'. Can anyone please tell me what is the BK / PBK view of what 'avatar' means and why is it wrong to apply this to Dada Lekhraj?

Thanx

Re: Prajapati to Prajapita - Name changed for what?

Here is the account given in the book 'Exploring New Religions' by George D. Chryssides. BK teachings substantially derive from Dada Lekhraj's revelations. BKs state that he is not a guru, possibly meaning that he claims no lineage (or parampara), and he is certainly not regarded as an avatar. Howev...
