Re: The Truth

I agree with what you are saying Avyakt7, though it is all a bit too "reasonable" and "logical"` for my liking... ;-) Yes, we "only have words to communicate via this board", but we could be using poetry :D remember what you are a shining star a point of light constant ...

Re: The Truth

I guess a "path of knowledge" has to be concerned with truth. Whereas a path of devotion can focus on selfless love. I have never been clear on why knowledge should be seen as more elevated than devotion. For me, as avyakt7 said above, experience comes first, and the experience of Godly lo...

Re: The role of Shiva

I agree with this. When in union with God, the experience is one of love filled bliss. The other roles and relationships then pale into insignificance, though they can play a very practical role for us at other times when our connection (remembrance) is less. The roles are just a yukti to help estab...

Re: New BK forum

Thanks Avyakt7 - yes, it is an encouraging start. I have just been saying my own tuppenceworth on that very thread :)

I look forward with interest to seeing how the initial tone is set by the founder members.

Re: New BK forum

Thanks Avyakt7 for the info - SimonB is very competent with computer systems and so this new forum should be well run technically - it is also good that they have a team of admins from the start. We shall see how liberal they remain once the fur starts to fly (I won't be ripping any, but I suspect o...

Re: No touching if you want to be an Angel

I remember seeing (at Global Retreat Centre in Oxford) several old photographs on the walls showing Brahma Baba and sisters hugging each other, I think when meeting or saying farewell. There are also numerous stories of teenage sisters sitting literally on his lap in the very early days before the &...

Re: Welcome

Hi Arjun - there is the Global BK forum at http://globalbk.socialgo.com, and the "BK ex-change" at http://xbkchat.net - neither have a lot of traffic but both are alive and catering for different needs. And then there is the blog and comments at http://bkwsuwatch.com/ (too political and ne...

Re: Welcome

Greetings Arjun and best wishes to all at this forum :) This is my first visit to this forum but I see I already have a login and many posts here transferred from the blue site.... I do welcome the recent proliferation of forums for BK refugees, escapees, splinterers, apologists, activists, and so o...

Re: Hello to all, this seems to be a respectful forum.

I do worry about this difficult time we are about to face While reading a Sakar Murli recently (not a characteristic behaviour for me..) I had an insight: we should not be focussing on destruction or even transformation of the world, but on creation of the Golden Aged world, a positive focus on div...

It means the merchants are going about their business. Presumably they are preparing their commercial sanskars for their next birth in the Copper Age .
is "BK" safe to use still ?
Expect litigation from Burger King in due course :).

I agree with arjun on this.

Perhaps, if the labels are dropped, members should be encouraged to indicate their school of thought/loyalties in their personal profiles?

Hi guys I agree that, for the good of this forum and site, we should try to set the highest standards when documenting our experiences and opinions. Yes, we should seek for balance when expressing our views, and yes, we should have respect for the BKs, even when they show little respect for us. Yes,...

1) the strong pressure to renounce loving relationships, including friendship of any sort. Any form of closeness between people was snuffed out deliberately and persistently (of course, there are different rules entirely for the SS). 2) the absolute insistence that their teachings are the ultimate a...

Master Creator - my BK experiences indicated that BKs are encouraged to suppress their sexual drive, rather than to process it. Suppression causes accidents - if you keep increasing the weight on the nozzle of a pressure cooker, there will be a major explosion eventually and the food will be sprayed...
