Re: Enjoy sport
Hi guys, while not wanting to hijack the direction of the thread, I thought I should respond to the points raised earlier. Yeah, Tom, I think you are right about The developments are showing if "Brahma Kumaris" is going to survive in the West, it will most likely more or less transform int...

Re: Enjoy sport
Personally, I am not so much into sports due to laziness rather than any fear of Shrimat! Although I do enjoy walking. I remember someone I know being told they shouldn't go swimming, even though they wanted to do it primarily for health reasons. A lot of this is fear based rubbish, not based on Gya...

Re: BKWSU (UK) legal matters
I would have been surprised if there was any real response. These guys are so much in denial they make ostrichs look like they're in therapy. I heard Dadi is in the UK until the 13th, so you've given them enough time to come through with something. Good to hear on the other link that they are being ...

Re: BKWSU, the business, money and selling Gyan
I think Hope is not referring to Usha who is Ramesh's Wife but another Sister who had climbed up the Ladder becasue of successful SML courses being conducted in India ... Sorry for the late response, yes, yogi108 is quite right. She is a Abu based sister in her early 40s who took on the SML course ...

Re: BKWSU (UK) appoints legal representation
Wow ... I think the time is coming when the proverbial is going to hit the fan in a big way ... they have had this arrogance of seeing themselves above the law, but Baba aint gonna protect the way they've been screwing around with finances. Thanks for your tireless effort with this ex-l. p.s. who or...

Re: "Self-Managing Leadership" becomes "Authentic Leadership"?
Interesting, I knew it wouldnt take them long. You only have to look at any BK literature stall to see how much they love repackaging ... On second thoughts, take a shifty at the following link ... Leadership Retreat which shows that when Brian was still in circulation he delivered this course himse...

Re: BKWSU, the business, money and selling Gyan
The BKWSU reported in one of its promotions that the SML was only "licensed", not given, to the BKWSU. In another of its internal briefings that any "corporate", i.e. paying, enquiry went through the OLA. I am left guessing that was part of the deal. I have never seen the paperw...

Re: Healing for money.
But then, surely, by BK logic, that must be a memorial from Bhakti of King Janak? :-? yeah, for sure; she's certainly got her kingdom sorted out on this age, never mind any other. And yeah, I think you are right about the dentist guy. Must have the pictures with the good smiles!! Peter, I think you...

Re: Healing for money.
Hang on ... Someone pays money to learn a skill like massage aromatherapy or any other New Age 'healing" thang. They advertise to people who want to believe in it to offer them that skill for money and you are calling that Bhakti? Please.. Sorry, if you are trying to compare that to the situati...

Re: BKWSU, the business, money and selling Gyan
Strange ... did they give any reason? SML is so firmly entrenched in India ... I know of one particular sister in Madhuban who has spent the last 10 years on it ... I would've thought even if Brian is getting married they would think of some excuse to hang onto it.

Re: BKWSU leadership accessibility and reverence
There is an underlying problem in the question ... while I totally agree that the results must be skewed by poll problems, I also feel it is not sufficient to say "are they accessible?" The real question here is, "are they open to change and considering realities different to their ow...

Hi!
Hi all! hope to be on here occassionally. youve got great information and resource and I like the format. I find it hard to put myself in the boxes you have here. I love God. Gyan (ie Murlis) has always resonated deep within me. However, I have not functioned in the BK mainstream for sometime, tho I...
