BBC World Interviews Janki
I couldn't find a link on their site, but just an hour ago I saw on BBC World (im in Thailand) a piece on BK by journalist Emily Buchanan . Pathetic journalism, she did absolutely no research at all and the piece was basically a fluff piece advertising the cult. A great opportunity to contact the BB...

President of India Converses with Dead BK Founder
Have you guys seen this? Pratibha Patil on speaking to a ghost India's muckraking presidential poll The milder criticism of her comes from a curious admission that a dead guru had given her a "premonition" that she was destined to become India's first citizen. Is she still heavily involved...

Dada Lekhraj's date of birth is also 1884 not 1876. It was faked to match predictions in the Murlis. This is clearly state in their early works. Are you headed off now? It was good to have a fresh view and a clear mind around here. Thanks and no need to apologise, I appreciate the chance to get it ...

Thanks for all the help everyone, I really got a lot of good advice and assisstance from people here. My article is finished! I still might add to it though, but I am happy enough with it to share the link: http://gazette.gokmu.com/news/article.html?no=575 Since BK has a presence where I work and I ...

You guys may have already seen this, but it's still good for a laugh. Dadi Janki talks about those non-existant experiments performed on her by those non-existant Uni of Texas scientists working at their non-existant Medical and Science Resarch Institute: Dadi Janki, now around 90, had many good thi...

Had a fun hour! I only found a few references to that institution on the Net, and each one repeated the Dadi claim. So, if that institute ever existed, it seems all it did was announce Dadi had the most stable mind in the world, and then they closed down. And, of course, scientists don't make claims...

Science Research Institute University of Texas? (Dadi Janki)
According to this site: Companion of God and the official BK site in Korea; In 1978 Scientists at the Medical and Science Research Institute at the University of Texas, USA examined the brain wave pattern of BK Dadi Janki, Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris. She was described as the "most stable min...

You have not stated whether you were ever a cult member yourself and can understand it from the inside out. Thanks for the comments ex-l! No, I was never a member, so although I have a good idea how people get recruited, I don't have the personal experience of going through it. My interest in cults...

Thanks for sharing. Sorry I did not mean to suggest I thought BKs would / could do something like the sarin gas attacks, I meant the way the two groups operate, recruiting and control tactics, dogma etc. And as Mr Green pointed out, when the End of the World becomes associated with a heavenly new ex...

BK & Aum Shinrikyo?
Hi, Reading about BK's doomsday prophecies and promises of a heavenly post-apocalyptic world, I am reminded of the sarin gas attacks commited by the Aum Shinrikyo cult in Japan. Members believed their attacks would help bring about the end of the world. Has anyone examined the similarities between B...

That's OK, I understand completely. A name would be nice, but with the content of the lecture, how it was advertised, the handing out of BK flyers before and after (despite no mention of BK in the lecture) the misleading way Lee was promoted - a counselling expert, and videos by BK on YouTube, plus ...
